Fast was a Silicon Valley darling in a crowded one-click checkout space until it became clear that they had 500 employees and about $600k in annual revenue. At over $1000/employee, that's pretty good! They had previously raised a $102 million Series B on even less revenue, and were seeking a valuation of > $1 billion before they collapsed.

Fast sponsored a NASCAR driver and basically gave these hoodies away. They didn't realize until too late that the pot of money they could raise on empty promises was very large but, sadly, not infinite.
